The porous materials sintered plates obtained in layers by free spreading, compaction, and sintering metallic powders are used as a semi-product to obtain filtering elements of different geometrical forms through plastic deformation, welding, and machining. The specific structure of these materials consists of a metallic framework formed by particles of sintered powder and a spatial lattice of pores, most of which are opened and interconnected. Interconnected pores ensure good permeability.
